Owen Cooper, aged 84, died at the home of his son, Guy Cooper, early Monday morning after a week's illness. He was the son of Joel and Martha Cooper and lived most of his life in the Thornville vicinity. He is the last of a family of ten, his brother Elmer having died five weeks ago. His wife, Florence, preceded him in death four years ago.
He is survived by four daughters; Mrs. Reed Boring of Newark, Mrs. Earl Bugh of Thornville, Mrs. Laura Church of New Salem, Mrs. George Edmund of Lancaster; and three sons, Guy of Glenford, Hubert and Harry of Thornville. Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon with burial in Lutheran Reformed cemetery.

Mary Florence KENNY [Parents] 1, 2, 3, 4 was born on 13 Nov 1859 in Ohio. She died on 10 Jul 1935 in Thorn Twp, Perry, Ohio, and was buried in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery. She married Owen B. COOPER on 7 Mar 1877 in Perry County, Ohio.

Elmer Cooper of Thornville Dies --- Elmer Cooper, age 78, died at 4 o'clock Monday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Earl Henderson, after an illness of a few weeks.
Surviving in addition to the daughter are one son, William Cooper; one brother, Owen Cooper; two children, and three grandchildren. Two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Yost and Mrs. John Bowers, are deceased.
Funeral services were held at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon at the Trinity Reformed church. Rev. Paul Berkenstock officiated. Burial was made in the Lutheran and Reformed cemetery.

The estate of Elmer E. Cooper late of Thorn township is estimated to value $10,000 in real estate and $100 in personal property according to letters testamentary issued in probate court Tuesday to William J. Cooper, a son. Bond was dispensed with under terms of the will which gives to Dollie Henderson, a daughter, a lifetime interest in a 73 acre farm in Thorn township, to pass at her death to Charles E. Cooper, a grandson. A 164 acre farm, also in Thorn township, is left to William J. Cooper. The will was dated Feb. 14, 1929 and a codicil was executed Sept. 29, 1932.

Myrtle C. WATSON [Parents] "Myrtie" 1, 2 was born on 9 Jan 1864 in Thorn Twp, Perry County, Ohio. She married Elmer E. COOPER on 8 Jan 1885. Myrtle died on 2 Dec 1926 and was laid to rest in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery, Thorn Twp, Perry, Ohio.

Funeral services for Guy Cooper. age 51, of Thornville, were held at 2:00 o'clock Monday afternoon at the home with Rev. Martin Kniker officiating. Burial was made in the Thornville cemetery. Mr. Cooper died Saturday at his home following a three-month illness of complications.
Proprietor of a sheet metal company at Thornville, he was a native of Licking County and had lived in Thornville, Perry County, the greater part of his life. He was the son of the late Owen and Florence Cooper.
Mr. Cooper was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Reformed church, the Modern Woodmen of America, and the Masonic lodge of Thornville.
Surviving are his widow, Maude; a daughter, Miss Lois Irene Cooper of the home; four sisters, Mrs. Reed Boring of Newark, Mrs. Lulu Church of New Salem; Mrs. George Edmund of Lancaster, and Mrs. Earl Bugh of Thornville; and a brother, Harry Cooper of Thornville.

Maude Blanche WHITE [Parents] 1, 2 was born 31 Oct 1890 in Perry, Ohio. She married William Guy COOPER on 5 Aug 1917. Maude died on 29 Apr 1975 in Thorn Twp, Perry, Ohio. She was buried in Lutheran Reformed Cemetery.

Services for Maude B. Cooper, age 84, of 175 E. Columbus St, Thornville, were held at 2 p.m. Friday at the Charles R. Boring Funeral Home, with Dr. Ray Sturch officiating. Burial was in Lutheran Reform Cemetery, Thornville.
Mrs. Cooper died Tuesday, April 29, in Bethesda Hospital, Zanesville. She was born October 31, 1890, in Perry County, to John and Louisia (Davis) White.
She was a member of the United Church of Christ of Thornville. She had lived in Thornville for 36 years. Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. Lois Woods of Rt. 2, Roseville, and a sister, Mrs. Edith Wood, of the home.
