Mrs. Jennie Archer, 84, of North Baltimore, died at 8 p.m. Saturday in Wood county hospital, Bowling Green. She had been bedfast four months and death was due to carcinoma.
Born February 4, 1868, in Portage township, Hancock county, she was a daughter of Jacob and Harriet Cooper. She lived in North Baltimore 63 years.
She married Henry Archer on March 4, 1888, and he died in 1937. Surviving is a son, Marion, North Baltimore, four grandchildren. Her brothers and sisters are deceased.
Mrs. Archer was a lifetime member of the Methodist church and belonged to the W.S.C.S. and the W.C.T.U. Last rites will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Ruppeth funeral home, North Baltimore, with the Rev. C. D. Dilbert officiating. Burial will be in Maplewood cemetery.
Jacob Joseph CARMANY 1 was born in 1860 in Schaefferstown, Lebanon, PA. He married Sarah Euretha COOPER on 9 Mar 1912 in Hancock County, Ohio. Jacob died on 29 Oct 1927 in Findlay, Hancock, Ohio and was laid to rest in Maplewood Cemetery.
Sarah Euretha COOPER [Parents] "Retha" 1, 2, 3 was born on 27 May 1869 in Portage Twp, Hancock County, Ohio. She married Jacob Joseph CARMANY on 9 Mar 1912 in Hancock County. Sarah passed away on 22 Mar 1949 in Findlay, Hancock, Ohio and was buried in Maple Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Retha Carmany, 118 East Lincoln street, widow of J. J. Carmany, died of a heart attack at 5 o'clock yesterday afternoon in Findlay Hospital. She was stricken early Monday morning.
A daughter of Isaac and Amanda (Trout) Cooper, she was born on May 27, 1869, in Portage township, living in Hancock county all her life. She had resided for the past 49 years in her home on East Lincoln street. She was married to Mr. Carmany in 1912, and he died in 1927.
Mrs. Carmany leaves a sister, Mrs. Earl P. Kempher, Morenci, Mich.; and a niece, Mrs. Walter E. Sicha, Cleveland. A brother, Dr. William G. Cooper, died in 1900.
A member of the First Presbyterian church, Mrs. Carmany was very active in church work and circles. She belonged to the Officers club, Sorosis club, and Shakespeare class. and was a former member of the Findlay hospital board.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the Barnhart Memorial with Rev. Russell G. Bisnett officiating. Committal will be in Maple Grove cemetery.
John Poe COOPER [Parents] 1, 2 was born on 4 Mar 1871 in Portage Twp, Hancock County, Ohio. He married Aura May WITHROW on 29 Sep 1892. John died on 28 Sep 1944 in Marion Twp, Hancock, Ohio. He was buried in Ten Mile Cemetery.

John Poe Cooper, 73, of the Port Clinton road, died suddenly of a heart attack at 9:30 o'clock Thursday morning at his home in Marion township. He had been in ill health for a year.
Mr. Cooper had done his farming chores and was sitting in a chair reading the morning paper when he was stricken. The body was taken to the Coldren funeral home and will be returned to the residence today.
Born March 4, 1871, in Portage township, he was the son of Jacob and Harriet (Jones) Cooper. On September 29, 1892, he was married to Aura May Withrow who survives.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three children, Mrs. Frank McQuistion, of Portage, Mrs. Raymond Elsea, of Arlington, Va., and Orville Cooper of Findlay. Mrs. Jennie Archer, of North Baltimore, is a sister. There are six grandchildren. A daughter, Phama Cooper, died in 1930.
Mr. Cooper attended the Portage Chapel church, where funeral services will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon. Burial will be in the Ten Mile cemetery.
Aura May WITHROW [Parents] 1 was born 16 Jan 1874 in Pleasant Twp, Hancock County, Ohio. She married John Poe COOPER on 29 Sep 1892. She passed away on 8 Jan 1949 in McComb, Hancock, Ohio and was buried in Ten Mile Cemetery.

Willis F. Cooper, 80, Bella Vista, Arkansas., was born to Elmer E. and Florence (Wilmarth) Cooper March 30, 1920, in Corning, Adams County. He died Dec. 3, 2000, at his home.
Mr. Cooper was a meteorologist in the Army Air Corps from 1941 to 1945 and was discharged with the rank of Master Sergeant. He was married to Opal Marie Havens June 24, 1944, in Omaha, Neb. They farmed in Iowa for 40 years in Corning, Radcliffe, Williams and Goodell. He was active in church, served on school boards, was a member of the Farm Bureau, a Soil Conservation Society Commissioner in Williams, Lions Club and was on the Hamilton County Extension Council. He also was a member of the International Flying Farmers and was president of the Iowa Flying Farmers in 1979. They moved to Arkansas in 1984, and he worked in his home repair business from 1986 until July of this year.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife; two sons and two daughters; brother Wayne of Los Alamitos, Calif; sisters Wanda Sours of Ames, Estella (husband Eugene) Swartz, Lenox; 12 grandchildren; and a great-grandson.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, at the Bella Vista Community Church with the Reverend David McKay officiating. The Bella Vista Funeral Home & Crematory was in charge of arrangements.
