Allen Cooper died at the home of his son-in-law, Will Freed, in Portage township, Monday, from the effects of a stroke of appoplexy, aged about 78 years. The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning, and the remains will be buried in Maple Grove cemetery. The deceased was a pioneer and was very well known by all our older citizens.
